Hi, Love Mezzmo Server.

I have a question regarding encoding engines.

The standard engine is ffmepg but I can't get it to use QuickSync despite having the Intel Media SDK and a capable Intel processor and setting as QuickSync encode in the Transcode settings. I can see the output logs but don't understand the error. Putting that aside I can do CPU encode - so no problem.

Wondering if in the future it may be possible to use the excellent Handbrake engine to encode as an alternative to Mezzmo's ffmpeg coupling?
https://handbrake.fr/docs/en/latest/cli/cli-options.html

This does have built in QuickSync support etc.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hmmmm, what are your hardware specs? I have an i5-3470 that works fine with Mezzmo and Quick Sync.
