Android App 2.1.0 shows no servers

just got this update and now suddenly i can't find any mezzmo servers. I'm on my local wlan and it worked flawlessly with the version before. i've restarted my mobile phone and stopped/restarted the app. Anyone else with this problem?

looks like i was in the beta channel. deinstalled and installed the official release - works again.

Hi there ,similar prob to above,updated to latest Mezzmo android and no servers found at first.Tried deleting and re-installing but then Mezzmo crashes at every start up.Rolled back to previous version and all ok.Will try again when time permits

Thankyou for testing, we are getting ready to release an update of the Mezzmo app so if you have another chance to install the beta app to see if the problem still occurs we would appreciate it. We will also do more testing here to see if we can reproduce the issue.

Reloaded Mezzmo android 2.1.0 today and again could find no servers.This was the same result on a Samsung S10 and a Beelink GT king android box.Rolled back to previous version and was ok

Thankyou for testing. We tried this here on two devices and each could find the servers, an oppo running android 9 and a nexus running android 8. We can also find servers on a Fire TV so we are not sure why you are not finding servers with the app on your device.

We have reproduced the issue and fixed it. The app is being updated in the play store now for the beta channel.

I deleted them both from the Mezzmo server on pc,refreshed and the server re-finds both deleted devices,but not vice versa

@peter: version 2.1.0 is working now and finding my servers. i've noticed that there's now a mezzmo notification but it just says mezzmo. what are the plans for this? playback options?

The notification is necessary when running a service in foreground mode. In the past we have had playback controls in the notification so we will need to investigate and implement them again for the new version.
