Hello - I was curious if there were any plans to introduce an audio leveling feature in the Mezzmo Roku (smart TV) app? Other apps like Hulu/Netflix have this feature and it could be really handy for some of my home media files where the audio balancing (soft speech vs super-loud action/music) isn't ideal.

I know I can reprocess some of my movies to achieve this, but was curious if this was something in the works or being considered.

Thanks!

This kind of feature would need to be done when transcoding files prior to delivery rather than in the client app. There currently exists filters that can be applied using ffmpeg when transcoding, these could be added by editing the device profile or ffmpeg additionals in Mezzmo to add loudnorm as an audio filter https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/AudioVolume
