View Full Version : Not detecting Roku device

Started mezzmo yesterday to watch a movie and there was an update to 6.0.6.0. Installed it but my Roku device wasn't detected. I have mezzmo app on my device.

Have tried all the usual fixes, uninstall, re-install, delete devices and refresh, remove and reinstall mezzmo app and checked network connection (hardwired).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Don't know what changed but decided to try one last time on my roku device to find mezzmo and there it was. I did make 2 changes prior, remote access port to 8051 and server advertisement. All I know is that I wasted a few hours trying to figure this out.

Depending upon your Firewall software the updated MezzmoMediaServer.exe may be blocked so you will need to allow communication on port 1900 to let devices find the server. Increasing the server advertisement frequency can also help.
