Possibility to stop generating video thumbnails

Hello Team,

Is there some way to stop generating thumbnails for video files in a collection.
I have thousands of videos in one collection and it takes days for thumbnails generation, but in fact I don't need them anyways.
I just need to have the files and directory structure for streaming.

Hi,
it is not possible to stop generating thumbnails. This is done as a background process and should put very little pressure on the CPU.

I am not sure which thumbnails we are talking about but the video preview thumbnails are the ones which take a long time. I keep them disabled by turning them off in Maintenance. Uncheck Update Video Preview Thumbnails.
