Movie file cut short

I have had this happen only two or three times over the years. A recorded movie properties say it is, for example,95 mins long.It will play for correct length on pc.
On Mezzmo android it also displays movie as 95mins,but will stop playing after an hour or so.
The time slider/bar? is at the end of its travel,as it would be if movie was complete.
Anyone have any ideas as to why this is.

If the file is being played with transcoding then it could be transcoding is too slow and the device stops playing when the end of the transcoded data is reached
