TV Does Not Recognize Mezzmo right away

It used to be that my Samsung 6500 Series TV recognized the Mezzmo server immediately in the TV media player when turned on. However, lately it takes the TV being turned on for 10+ minutes before the server is found. Has anyone else had this issue, or have any idea how to resolve it?

My computer can see the TV in Network Devices almost immediately and the Mezzmo server is always running.

I am open to all suggestions as this is a very annoying issue.

No point waiting 10 minutes!

On my Panasonic TV, I will using "Network Setup" check that the status is "connected" and then perform a "connection test"

You should also check that the Mezzmo server is "running" and not "stopped"

Other things to check:


Check if anything has changed on your wired/wireless network router. I would recommend switching it off for a few minutes and then switch it on again to reset it. This often fixes home network glitches.
On your Samsung TV, go to the Setup menu using your remote and refresh the Input / Source List.
