Hi,

I'm having audio problems with some of my files. The audio skips, but the video is fine.
I'm using a samsung BDP (BD-C6300). Audio of faulty files are all ac3 (some avi and mkv), and my BDP is configured to output stereo.

Any ideas what is causing this?

I know this is not helpful, but your lucky you even get any audio. With AC3 containing mkv's my samsung bd-c5900 is absolutely silent. :s

That file should play fine natively. Is it possible for you to send it to us via a service like www.megaupload.com so that we could try it here? Also, have you tried playing it using PCSM and if you have - does it play ok?

What firmware version do you have on your BDP?

Tried with PCSM and in USB drive: the audio had the same problem.
Also tried these files on my TV (usb port in Samsung LNC540), they worked perfectly!?!
So, I guest it must be a problem with the BDP...

FW of BDP: BSP-C6300WWB-1020.1

Let me know if you still want the file.

I'm guessing it's the file - we have the same firmware here (alsmost, it's also 1020.1, but different prefix) and it plays MKVs with AC3 sound ok. The TV has a slightly different engine, so it may more or less and may be more tolerant to some encodings.
