Looks like a couple folks have asked for this and it was on the list as a possible feature upgrade. Was wondering if that's still the case and when (roughly) it might show up?

The next major features are pre-transcoding and subtitles. After that, I suspect URL streaming will be closer to getting implemented. Sorry that I can't be more specific at this point :(

Thanks Dennis... at least we know it's on the list.

Internet radio streaming is the next best thing Mezzmo could do :)

+1 for Internet Radio Streaming....

If that is possible, would Google TV also be possible? imo these extra features will add considerable value to the Mezzmo product!

Cheers,
Willem

Not sure about Google TV - I don't know the format it's streamed in and whether it's protected or not, but we'll investigate when the time comes.

Out of interest - what sites would you like stream from? And what type of media would you like to stream (i.e. music, videos or photos)? This will help us whilst we are developing URL streaming features in Mezzmo.

I use another program to playback the free version of Hulu for shows that either the DVR misses or that I forgot to record. As an example the feed is: http://www.hulu.com/feed/show/7556/episodes

This are some of the streaming content that I watch:

www.youtube.com
www.cuevana.tv
http://dulceamor.telefe.com/2012/05/07/capitulo-72-hd/ (this is just an episode example).

But in general it would be nice to be able to see ANY streaming content.

Thanks.

Is there any update concerning the streaming content?
Thanks in advance.

No change to what we have already mentioned in this and other threads. URL streaming is being developed right now and is planned to be included in Mezzmo v3.0, which is expected to be released later this year.

We have nearly finished implementing URL streaming and it is working well, but we will not have time to finish it & add it into Mezzmo v3.0 (we really want to get Mezzmo v3.0 to all those users waiting so long). Once Mezzmo v3.0 is released in the next few weeks, then URL streaming will be prepared for Mezzmo v3.1 in the New Year.

Bump...

Any ideas on how close we are on this feature? ;)

Are there good Steaming TV channels? I was just thinking about radio at the moment.

URL streaming will not be included in the upcoming Mezzmo v4.0 (due later this year) but we certainly will consider it for the following version.

What is the Problem with internet radio streming?
Every avm router is able to do this.

Take a look at the new Firmware 6.0. With this you can stream Podcasts and Internet radio.

I am sorry but i have no idea what you are talking about? Can you give me a few more details. Not sure what device you are talking about.

I was looking at a Minix box.. a 5 or 7 maybe.. a local guy can set it up for me with a good rom i think.. Would probably replace Mezzmo though. But i dont really know much about it yet.

I looked into the music options on my BR last night. It actually has a bunch of streaming stations which was cool... not quite what i was looking for but not bad.
