Frequent Mezzmo server disconnects

Machine:
Dell Inspiron 580 - Intel Core i3 540
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
hardwired to network - 100mbit
Mezzmo Media Server 2.1.12.0

Mezzmo installed and configured without issue, but it frequently disappears from the network, when viewed from several UPnP/DLNA iPhone apps (PlugPlayer, media:connect, etc.) and several Android apps on Samsung Galaxy Tab (UPnPlay,EyeCon, Twonky, Samsung AllShare, etc.). Also, when it does work, browsing media folders is slower than when browsing other media servers on the network.

I've tried several other media servers (TVersity, Serviio, XBMC) on the same machine and they all behave as they should, without exhibiting any disconnect issues.

I'm seeing some indication on the forums that this may be an ongoing issue with Mezzmo. Is it possible that I'm suffering from a common problem?

Please let me know if there's anything I can do on my end to help diagnose the issue.
