Support for nfo files

Hi I am using the free trial of Mezzmo with my Samsung C650 and have been really impressed with it so far and after my 15days will buy it. I was wondering if there is support or future support for xbmc nfo files for getting the metadata from IMDB? as all my MKV files have them. To get the correct naming and artwork for thumbnails I have had to manually do it which was kind of tedious and I had to manually use the search the internet to get artwork. Would be cool if available or some advice of how to make this more automated would be nice.

Does XBMC place those files alongside each movie? Can you please send one of those files in to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll see if we can read them in and use information from them.
