Hi, I've tested some H264 HD (720P) video from Mezzmo to my PS3, and I am seeing some strange artifact when I, use the PS3 button (Square) to go at a later part.

Once the video start from the new location artifacts appears and dissapear on the picture. I have not seen this happen when I do not change the time position.

Most videos I play are H264 streams, inside a MPG file container. This doesnt seem to happen with my AVI and WMV files.

Checking with the Mezzmo option to check the file with FFMPEG, I see that the container seem to have 2 times the FPS from the stream.

Seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 47.95 (5000000/104271) -> 23.98 (24000/1001)

Anyone have an idea about this?

Can your right click on these files in Mezzmo and then Get ffmpeg information. Then send us the information.

Hi is the information from FFMPEG. As I said, I don't see artifact if I don't go to another part of the movie. It only happen when I go directly to another part of the movie (Using the square button on the PS3)

Do they sort themselves out after a few seconds? Most probably this happens because the point of time you jump to is a partial frame, so until the next full (key) frame is played by the PS3, you'll see garbage in the spots that are missing from the frame.

Hi, Dennis.

Checked again. Yes this sort out after some time. The movie I tested had very few keyframes I think, because it took over 1 minute, before the image was "clean again"
