Time betwen pictures is sloooow

I've finally had time to play around with Mezzmo. When watching a slideshow of an active playlist of JPGs, it's taking a consistent 5 seconds between photos. My pictures are all JPG and I checked task manager and confirmed that FFmpeg is not running. So this should not be a transcoding issue. Is there anyway to improve this lag time?

Is the screen black during this time, does it have any loading indicators? What device are you using to play the slideshow on?

Can you please send in logs trying to play a slideshow on a small folder (a few photos) and we'll take a look at where the delay is.

Screen is black. No loading icon. Playing it on a Samsung Plasma through Samsung BDC-5500 bluray using the Samsung BDP profile. Logs have been emailed to support.
