A/V Capture on dell laptop has no sound

I was not getting any audio recorded in DownloadStudio A/V Capture. I am on XP, on a dell laptop. I read about how to get it to show on vista, but this sis not help me.

After lots of cursing I finally found the solution to get my Stereo Mix to show in the sound devices.
