So far, very impressed with Mezzmo, and I think I'm about to drop 40.00 US on the package, but I hoping that I can get some help adjusting my PS3 profile to assist in a problem I am having.

To make a long story folk, I started to make MKV copies of my DVD library with the realization that I would then have to remux to my PS3 and/or BDP-S570 since I am using WHS 2011 which has a DLNA compliant server. Unfortunately the WHS 2011 DLNA server when accessed via the BDP-S570 looks terrible with upscaling pixalation that makes viewing terrible.

Luckily I found Mezzmo. With your excellent profiles and on the fly transcoding, my MKV's play wonderfully on both my PS3 and BDP-S570. Now here comes the problem,
I have a ton of MKV2VOB remuxed mpg files that utilized the 'patched dts' LPCM 2 channel passthrough hack to allow DTS audio to play via the PS3's HDMI to my audio receiver.

FFMPEG shows the LPCM 2 channels as 'pcm_blueray'. Sample FFMPEG properties:

These files do not play through Mezzmo's built in PS3 profile with transcoding enabled using the default settings. However, if transcoding is universally disabled on the PS3 profile, Mezzmo successfully passes the LPCM bitstream through the PS3 to enable DTS through HDMI to my receiver.

What I am hoping for is a PS3 profile modification that will allow these .mpg files the ability to be streamed 'untouched' to the PS3, while still transcoding the MKV's (which convert the DTS track if applicable to AC3).

Down the road, it may be possible for Mezzmo to incorporate the same "LPCM" push to enable DTS encoded MKV's to function on the fly. MKV2VOB usually takes only 20 to 30 seconds to make the necessary container adjustments prior to muxing. Something to think about.

As for the BDP-S570, I understand that these MKV2VOB files will not function do to the LPCM track not being a codec recognized. No worries there.

Thanks in advance!

Sure - we'll add this to the device profile for the PS3 that'll be included in the upcoming 2.3.2 update. Thanks for the info!
