Had to ReLoad new Windows XP Pro, have I.E. V8, and my new version DownLoad Studio w/legit lic. key.
Since new O.S. re-load, I can't get D-L Studio to connect w/Premium R/S account. Attempts always just read as a txt file.
Browser always will access.
Something is set wrong, FireWall is even set to off.
ANY help appreciated !

Do you have 'Tools->Options->Connection->HTTP->Use Cookies to assist downloading from web servers' checked in DownloadStudio?

Do you have 'Tools->Internet Options->Delete browsing history on exit' unchecked in Internet Explorer?

If you copy and paste a rapidshare download link into DownloadStudio is it correctly downloaded?
If you click on a rapidshare download link in Internet Explorer is it caught by DownloadStudio's click monitoring and downloaded?

Yes to your questions, and, I have I.E. 8 set to accept and keep all cookies.
This is a NEW problem, and it's since I re-installed XP & I.E. 8

Rapidshare IS getting quirky these days for sure, but I'm actually thinking there's some
odd setting I have different, than prior to the re-install.

My FireWall is set to accept any connection relating to DownLoad Studio, but WinPCap is not.
I had WinPCap un-installed and DownLoad Studio worked perfectly on prior XP install.

If you add a rapidshare download to DownloadStudio and start the download, in the 'Job Conversation' do you see the cookie 'enc='? This is the rapidshare login cookie and if you do not have this in the request the job will not download correctly.
