I have the BDP-S370 and would like to listen do DTS when streaming MKV's. How is this possible with Mezzmo?

Thanks

DTS is not part of the codecs recognized via the DLNA portion of Sony's Bluray Players. Mezzmo will convert to AC3 and send it out through your HDMI or SPDIF.

Wonder if a future firmware update will fix that?

As a proud owner of a BDP-S570, I can tell you this;

Place a MKV small enough to fit on a thumbdrive and place it in your USB port. Play the file, and it will indicate that the audio track is not in a recognized format, but yet it plays the DTS without a hitch and of course without any transcoding. In my humble opinion, Sony believes that MKV's under a certain size are from Camcorders, and the remainder are pirated movies. Without Mezzmo, MKV's can NOT be played back via DLNA. So while there is no question that this is a firmware issue, I don't believe Sony will be making any adjustments to it.
