Hello,

I've been using Samsung 46D5000 for about a month now, and extended Mezzmo Trial periodfor the 2nd time. Mezzmo seems fine except for these 2-3 reasons;

- I get clippy sound especially when streaming 1080p video. I couldnt find what causes this sound interruption but it cuts off the sound for 1-2 seconds and then restores it. Optical output and sound connection does not seem to be broken since the home theater show DTS logo and acts like there is a signal. I got the same problem on some 720p videos too.

- For example, i got matrix, bourne and lotr trilogies as mkv files, it plays 1. and 2. movie but says unsupported video format on the 3rd, or plays only 1 from trilogy and gives the same error on other two.

- Cant play any mp3, could this be because of very large library? (150 gigs of mp3)

- And last one: It stops playback and skips to the next video in certain files, in the 2nd minute or so.

Is there a limit about library size? And is there any easy way to maintain and refresh library? Since i got 150 gigs of mp3, 6 tb of full hd movies and some photos, maintaining library is a pain in the ass.

thanks for the help, much appreciated. (Sorry for bad English)

Hello,

Unfortunately the screenshot is too small to make anything out :)

There's no actual limit on the library size and we've tested it with well over 700,000 files. It will become somewhat slower to browse or filter through and will take longer to maintain as it grows of course. Is there a need to maintain the whole library all the time though? If you have a folder to which you download stuff, then you can add that to Mezzmo and maintain just that folder, for example. I'm not sure how you have things set up, but if you can give me more information, perhaps we can find a better way to keep things refreshed.

The videos that stop into the 2nd minute - perhaps these are transcoded and transcoding is not quick enough? Can you please post FFmpeg information on one of those (in Mezzmo right-click on the file and use the "Get FFmpeg Information" command) and also tell me which device profile you're using (since I can't see the screenshot). If you play that video again, does it play further or does it stop at the same spot again?

Regarding sound issue and non-supported video formats - would it be possible for us to get some of those files (if you could send us download links or upload them to a site like www.megaupload.com), so that we could check them here? If you know, are Matrix/Bourne/LOTR native or are they transcoded? My hunch would be that they're delivered natively, but the encoding of some of them prevents the TV from playing them properly. If you can give me FFmpeg info on them as well, I'll know better.

Thanks for the file information. Can you please turn on logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then try playing it again and once it fails, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll investigate.

Strange - we've got lots of incoming mail. Can you please PM me your e-mail address and I'll check if it's here or not?

Seems like your mail server rejects mails with large attachments.

So what now? 30 $ paid for nothing or any suggestions?

Did you zip the logs up? Our server accepts mail with attachments up to 10 MBs and a zipped text file of that size would be really huge. Normally test logs would be around 1-2 MBs (zipped).
