I have a bunch of MKV files, and while they all work to my Sony s370 Blu-Ray player (although, transcoding has to be ON for it to find the files =( ) - 2 of them won't play audio at all. Video plays fine, but blank audio. I went through all the others encoding settings and trying to see what made these 2 so special -- the ONLY thing they both had that the others did not was a fairly low audio bitrate (384) while the others were around 600+. The audio plays perfectly fine when watching on PC and isn't that low at all, so it's not a file issue really.

Not quite sure where to really take it from there, i tried adjusting a few settings on the TV, and nadda.

Also, I'm sure it's been mentioned- but just in case, I also had an issue where videos would stop 30 seconds in, and the issue was -- low disk space. I moved the transcode folder to another drive and the issue is long gone.

The Sony BDPs do not support MKV files, so you have to have transcoding turned on to see them.

Can you please turn on logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then delete transcoded files (or just those two transcoded files via the Properties dialog in Mezzmo, Transcoding tab) and try to play one of them again. Once it starts playing on the BDP, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll take a look.

Also, can you please confirm that you're using the latest version 2.4.2?
