Hi,
Following the aquisition of a new Philips 37PFL8605, I'm in the process of choosing a DLNA server and I'm testing Mezzmo.
I've tested Philips profiles provided (Philips HT, Philips 7000, 8000 & 9000), but they transcode much more than required by the PFL8605. So I'm using the option "no transcoding" with Philips HT and it's nearly perfect except for DTS audio and .ts files (DVB-C TV stream)
According to the documentation, the TV is able to read a lot of format:
- mp3, AAC
- WMA v2 up to v9.2
- Jpeg (but not all pictures are read ?)
- MPEG 1, MPEG 2, MPEG4
- H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC)
- WMV9
- MPEG program and transport stream
- AVI, MP4, MKV, ASF
but also Dolby and probably others.
For testing, can you provide a profile able to only transcode DTS audio to Dolby without recoding any video format ? It would allow me to do more complete testings.
If you have time, maybe the ability to read .ts DVB-C file ?
Also, a small bug all the ' appears incorrectly as ' on my TV (shoot'em up becomes shoot'em up).
Thanks for your answer and your help.
Last point, a tutorial to build simple profiles would be very useful :)
