I'm considering an addition of 2 more PS3s to my Mezzmo Server, making a total of 3, for playing movie files, using a wireless N router. Somewhere, with some sever software that I have tried, I found a graphical device connection schematic that showed all my connected devices and showed their connection speeds. I looked all around in Mezzmo but I do not find anything like what I saw. This could be helpful.

What I want to know is how many PS3s can I reliably use at the same time with a wireless N router? My computer is a dual core, 3.0GHz, 2gb ram, running XP SP3. Transcoding is disabled and all files play fine. Thank you.

In theory, an N connection is 300 mbits, so you could fit quite a bit in there. In reality, it'll be closer to 100 or less. So, if you have a 20 mbit movie (some movies will be 4-5 mbits, some up to 30), you can fit 4-5. I'd say that 3 should be fine, but most likely not any more than that.
