Hi all,

First of all, I´d like that congratulate conceiva staff for the excelent support team, and for this excelent dlna server software I have registered for just one year.
Please let me know if you can help me.
In my computer I run Mezzmo 2.4.3.0. I have two devices: a Samsung TV (LN40C550J1MXZD) and a Sony Bravia TV, model KDL55-EX505.
The Samsung TV is recognized by Mezzmo as "Samsung C" device, and Sony Bravia as "Sony Bravia KDL".
The problem arises with Samsung TV. I have a video in avi format, codec MPEG 4 part 2, audio in mp3, with srt subtitles, which is not played in this TV (show the message "unsupported file"), and I notice that after trying to play it, in video/properties/transcoding appears no transcoded file.

This is the ffmpeg information of this video:

Also, I´m experiencing problems with .rmvb files. The "unsupported file" message comes again, and I notice that after trying to play it, in video/properties/transcoding appears a little transcoded file (just 14Mb).
This is the ffmpeg information of this .rmvb video:

However, I have noticed that if I change this device profile to "Samsung BDP", the .avi file is flawlessly played, and with subtitles (is played natively, with no transcoding).
I notice that The .rmvb file is transcoded (in video/properties/transcoding), but also apppears the "unsupported file" message (even in Samsung BDP device profile).

I haven´t changed the default configuration in "media devices", nor have I disabled the transcoding of incompatible devices. On the other hand, Mezzmo works perfectly with Sony Bravia KDL, transcoding files that are not compatible.

I guess "Samsung C" profile must be updated, or may be customized to my tv (don´t know if this model, ending with J1MXZD is slightly different from others, manufactured in Europe or USA, for example). Please let me know if there´s a post teaching how to edit the .prf file by myself.

Hope to know a solution.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Pedro,

Thank you for the kind feedback - we appreciate it!

Some TV's firmwares appear to be closer to the BDP, so I would recommend using "Samsung BDP" if it works better.

RMVB files sometimes fail to transcode using FFmpeg - would it be possible for you to send us that file, so that I could test it here? We have a new build of FFmpeg that may work better.
