Hi just wondering is there a way to start off transcoding ALL the mkv files (in queue), well before streaming it to my wifi TV?
It just makes sense to have my videos transcoded well before we watch them, like over night.

Hi,

We'll have the pre-transcoding feature released soon and then you'll be able to do that.

Thanks that will be helpful.

In the meantime, can you let me know how I can prevent the deletion of a transcoded files. When I go back to was a previously saved transcoded file, its not there and mkv has to be re-coded. If I could save these "temporary" mtz files, it would be ready to view when we .

You can increase your temporary folder size via the Transcoding Settings dialog and that should keep those files hanging there for longer.

You can also look at other tools to manually transcode. Make certain that IF you decide to do that you pick a format that is common to all of your devices. For me that was easy since all of the devices use a Sony BDP to stream through. A good place to start would be Doom9 (http://www.doom9.org/) forums to see what types of tools exist.
