I am trying to stream mkv files to my Sharp 3D Blu-ray BD-HP25S

I can see the server without to many problems and i can browse to the files but it will not play the mkv's

I get the error "File cannot play"

It will allow me to play Avi files ok

The other thing I have notice is that my mkv seem to have *.mkv.mkv on the end

MKV files do work if i use the USB port on the Player

Quick Update

I have tried two 720p MKV and they seem to play ok

My previous two test files were 1080p With DTS Sound and 1 1080p without dts sound

The device profile specifies that it should support DTS audio, but perhaps the bitrate of those files is too high. Can you please right-click on them in Mezzmo and post the output of the "Get FFmpeg Information" command here and I'll check.

Also, please confirm that you are using the "Sharp BDP" device profile.

Can you please update to v2.4.5 and see if that works better? If it doesn't, please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then try playing one of those failing files and once it fails, stop the server and send in the logs.

The update to the latest release did not work

I have attached the log file

Craig,

Thanks for the logs, but it appears you didn't stop the server before zipping the logs, thus they are cut-off. They don't actually show you browsing to an MKV file and trying to play it. Can you please re-do the logs and send them in to support (don't post them here) and we'll sort this out.
