A new version of Mezzmo has been released and is available for download now! New features and improvements include:

New: Support for Microsoft Windows Phone 7 smartphones.
New: Support for Sony Internet TVs powered by Google TV.
New: Folders and playlists can now have custom artwork. Mezzmo displays custom artwork in the Mezzmo application and streams custom artwork to your DLNA devices. Note: DLNA devices may or may not display custom folder/playlist artwork. It is dependant on each device's DLNA implementation. To assign folder/playlist custom artwork, go to the Properties dialog for folders and normal, smart, active and linked playlists. In addition, Mezzmo assigns dynamic custom artwork for folders and sub-folders using the following popular artwork files and metadata files: mymovies.xml, movie.nfo, tvshow.nfo, series.xml, metadata\{episode}.xml, {file}.xml, {file}.nfo, folder.png, folder.jpg, movie.tbn, albumart*large.jpg, albumart*small.jpg, {file}.tbn and {file}.tgmd. Example devices that can display custom folder/playlist artwork are Sony Bravia TVs and WD TV Live.
New: "Only list files for the lowest level in active playlists" checkbox added to the Options dialog. Lets you control whether files are just listed at the lowest level of an active playlist (default setting) or files are collected at each level and listed at all levels in active playlists.
Improved: Support for FLAC format for HP TouchPad tablets.
Improved: Support for AAC format in MKV format for LG Blu-ray players.
Improved: Streaming transcoded files to LG TVs no longer stops abruptly.
Improved: Changed audio transcoding to AAC format in MKV containers for Logitech Revue (Google TV) digital media players.

Improved: Support for VC1 format in MKV format for Samsung BDP Blu-ray players.
Improved: Support for VC1 format, TRUE-HD format, PCM format and DTS format in MPEG-TS format for Sony BDP (PAL) Blu-ray players.
Improved: Adjusted transcoding settings for Sony Bravia KDL (MP4) TVs.
Improved: Status text for final cleanup step when using Maintain Library.
Improved: Support for variable length auto-chapters streamed to Samsung devices.
Improved: Better support for DLNA device playlist and folder caching.
Improved: Better integration into latest version of FFmpeg.
Fixed: Fixed transcoding issues for Microsoft XBox 360 games console.
Fixed: Do not assign folder.jpg/png for video files' thumbnails.
Fixed: Some audio CDs are not detected properly in the Rip CD dialog.

Important: Existing Mezzmo users should use Maintain Library in Mezzmo after upgrading to Mezzmo v2.4.. Set the "Only update missing information" setting and for all file types in the Maintain Library dialog. This is required for storing external subtitle file paths for video files and filenames for all media files into the Mezzmo database. If you are updating from v2.4.1 or later, then this is not required.
