Hi,

I've been trying to get XBMC to play files encoded by iTunes in the m4a format with little success. By checking the logs in XBMC it looks like an error occurs initialising the audio codec for these files when streamed via Mezzmo. If I select these files locally on the XBMC box they play okay. Is there any known issue with m4a files and XBMC? Alternatively, is there a block of xml I can add to the XBMC profile to force it to transcode to a different format (e.g. uncompressed audio) that might work with XBMC?

Thanks in advance.

Can you please send in XBMC logs that show that error to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll check it out.

Mezzmo will not transcode anything when sending to XBMC, as XBMC can handle most file types natively.
