Is it normal for Mezzmo to take upwards of 3 minutes before it starts to play a file. Also, most files are unbearably choppy. My system is Windows 7 64bit with AMD Phenom quad core cpu @ 2.8GHz with 3MB RAM. When I first installed Mezzmo it listed my BD player as a Marantz. So, I changed the profile to Panasonic BDP (playback was same with both profiles). I also thought I'd mention that I can serve the files through PS3 media server flawlessly on my blu-ray player. However, after reading rave reviews on Mezzmo, I thought I'd give it a try because it appears to be less cumbersome (less clicking through folders) than using PS3 Media Server. Log files attached. Thanks.

Can you please try the "Panasonic HT" device profile and see if that works better?

If it does't, can you please resend all log files (zip them all up) to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll investigate what's going on.

I tried the Panny "HT" profile with roughly the same results, although the playback took longer before it started to stutter. At any rate, I zipped and uploaded the log files to support yesterday.

Can I get any files that fixes this issue as well?

I have this same problem (delay) with the same player. Has a resolution been identified? Also how do you change the device profile?

Thank you

It's hard to say whether it's the same problem or not - please also send in the logs.

To change the device profile, go to the Media Devices dialog, select your device, click the Edit button and then choose another profile from the drop-down list.

I'm having this problem too. It's taking about 10 minutes to play a file and it's quite choppy when it does play. What is the fix for this?

It depends on what the problem is - can you please send in the logs to support as well and we'll check them out. Could be that your computer is too slow to transcode in real time, or the selected device profile is not right or the network throughput (if on wireless or homeplug) is not enough or something else.
