Hi,

I'm having problems with stuttering mp4 files on the Panasonic DMP-BDT210 with Mezzmo. I'm using the BDP profile (the files don't play at all with the other Panasonic options). All of the files that stutter with Mezzmo play fine when streaming with WMP12. From what I've read on other threads, it seems like even if it stutters through the file the first time, there should be a transcoded file saved so that it plays fine the next time. These files stutter every time. I watch the ffmpeg.exe and it grinds away at 80-98% cpu the first time the file is played. When the ffmpeg is done, I try to play the file again. Still stutters, but ffmpeg doesn't run again. There is a transcoded file listed in the file properties. I've tried different combinations of codecs and can't make it happy. I noticed that when streaming with WMP12 its process runs at 90+% too, but no stuttering.

I do want to jump on the fanwagon and say that I have been very impressed with everything else I've tried in Mezzmo so far. I'll be testing on WD TV Live next. ;)

Thanks for any help,
Sandy

Hi,

Please open a support ticket and I'll send you an updated device for the BDP to try - perhaps it'll help with the stuttering (please mention this thread through support, so that I could find it).
