Hi There,

I Have a Panasonic THP50U30Z TV and have been using Mezzmo on my XP machine quite well with a network cable. Unfortunately the cable needs to go across the hall in our house so I got a DY-WL10 wireless adapter for the TV and a Belkin N300 wireless router.

I have set them up and can see and access the WMP media server on the TV OK but while I can see the Mezzmo server, there is no logo and I can't access it.

I have checked the media devices in Mezzmo, the TV's adapter is set to auto and I have changed the connection type to Wireless N 600mps.

When I change back to the network cable now plugged into the wireless router, it works OK.

I have the Firewall set to ask for access permissions and nothing has come up, I've even turned the firewall off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please check this thread for some common connectivity issues: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/1183-FAQ-Cannot-see-Mezzmo-on-your-DLNA-device

If none apply or help, please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then turn your TV off and on and try to connect to Mezzmo. Once that fails, stop the server and send in the logs to support.

I've played around with the Mezzmo settings again and under Media Devices I checked the "Allow all new devices to connect to Mezzmo option." Walla!

Turns out the TV is detected as a separate device when connecting through Wireless. Who Knew.

Hopefully this may help someone else with a similar issue.

Thank you for your time Dennis.

Yes, it'll be a different device because wired and wireless networks will assign a different IP to it, so it'll look like a different device.
