Hi,

I am currently using the free trial of mezzmo but plan to purchase shortly as I have been very impressed. I am having a couple of minor issues with a number of AVI files. The vast majority of my files play fine on the tv (Panasonic Viera TX-P50G20BA) with the profile set to "Panasonic Viera" (I have tried the other profiles but this seems the best for the most files.) The few problem files play ok if I play them directly on the server computer using WMP (not through mezzmo). However, I have problems with an even greater number of files if I try to play them through mezzmo on another computer using WMP.

Is this likely to be more a problem with how the files have been ripped (even though they play fine if I open them directly) than with how I have mezzmo set up? Any suggestions would be welcome. Please let me know if you need any more information or log files.

Regards,

EDIT: Just checked the FFmpeg info for a couple of the problem files (Please see example below) and there seems to be an error with them:

The Panasonic Viera device profile will stream your above example file natively to your TV without any transcoding. oO, if you TV does not play it, then you are probably right - either the file is badly encoded or your TV's firmware does not like for some reason.
