Hi guys, first post on here!

just bought an HP Microserver and having read lots of good feedback around Mezzmo I thougth I would give it a go with my Panasonic TX-P50V20B.
Not had much success with Windows Home server 2011, no devices 'report in' to the Media Devices screen. Thinking it might be firewall related I even switched that off. Still no joy, so reinstalled the O/S - it's not that much hassle just yet as I'm still experimenting somewhat. Still nothiing.

so re-installed again, this time with Windows 7 64bit. Things looking much better, I'm seeing the Panasonic Viera in the Media Devices screen now, plus various other things on the network.

Ultimately I would like to run WHS 2011 on the server, so is there something I may have missed? It's no trouble to try out any suggestion as the server is dual-booting at the moment.

Thanks in anticipation

Mezzmo works well on WHS 2011 and we have many users using Mezzmo with WHS 2011. You do need to use Remote Desktop to install/configure Mezzmo on WHS, since we do not yet have an add-in for WHS. Make sure you install Mezzmo with administrator privileges. When you have Mezzmo media server running and you do not see any devices listed, then go through this checklist - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/1183-FAQ-Cannot-see-Mezzmo-on-your-DLNA-device

Thanks for the reply, I will try the options you mentioned.

What is the add-on you referred to? Currently I'm having to RDP across to my windows 7 installation to open Mezzmo. I'm assuming the add-on is something I can run on my 'normal' pc, as opposed to the server?

WHS supports "add-ins" to let software publishers (like Conceiva) install software onto WHS without the need for Remote Desktop - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Home_Server#Add-Ins
