A new version of Mezzmo has been released and is available for download now! New features and improvements include:


New: Pre-transcoding feature that lets you transcode files for your devices before streaming them to your devices. Perfect for underpowered computers that cannot transcode on-the-fly fast enough and cause stuttering when streaming. Perfect for devices that do not let you FF/REW/pause transcoding files. Perfect for mobile devices that only support MP4-based file formats which cannot be transcoded and streamed in real-time. Click Tools/Pre-transcode Library to transcode your entire Mezzmo library. Right-click on a playlist to pre-transcode a playlist of files. Right-click on a file to pre-transcode individual files.
New: Transcoding pane. View the Transcoding pane to display the files that are being transcoded by Mezzmo or Mezzmo media server.
New: Streaming status displayed. View the Status pane to see what files are being streamed to your devices.
New: Get Online Video Metadata dialog lets you search for movies and TV shows on IMDb and TheTVDB web sites and save the associated metadata into your Mezzmo library. Metadata includes movie title, TV series title, TV episode title, TV episode number, year, genre, actors and description. To access this dialog, right-click on a video file in Mezzmo and click Properties. Then click on the Get Online Video Metadata button in the Properties dialog.

Important: Existing Mezzmo users should use Maintain Library in Mezzmo after upgrading to Mezzmo v2.5.0. Set the "Only update missing information" setting and for all file types in the Maintain Library dialog. This is required for storing external subtitle file paths for video files and filenames for all media files into the Mezzmo database. If you are updating from v2.4.1 or later, then this is not required.
