I'm not entirely sure what the problem is here? Do you mean that all users can access a share, but you don't want that?

sorry yes i make a user folder say fred and give rights to the folder for him i can open his folder and delete all files if i am logged in as any other user. the user fred does have a user profile on the server so he will have rights to the folder. but as stated others can open the folder that fred is only supposed to be able to open. like in the other post i can do it like it shold work without the program installed???
bottom line is i need 3 folders me wife and son i dont want access to all folders unless i am on the server or logged in as the correct user on the pc connecting to the share.

Sorry, I'm not sure where Mezzmo fits in here? You may want to check some Windows 2008 forums or search Google - I'm sure there's an answer out there somewhere.

In Mezzmo you can limit access permissions for folders, but these are only related to the server and you can still access folder using Windows Explorer.
