I just picked up a Revue for giggles to try out and have had problems streaming mkv files (DTS). I have tried to play them and it will either show video and audio for 10-15 seconds and then go to a black screen or it will do nothing to a black screen. If I restart Mezzmo sometimes, 1 in 10 chance, it will play the entire movie no problem. But if I try and do the same thing with the same mkv, more often than not I will either have no video or again it will play for 10 seconds or so , back to a black screen. I just tried one with the logging on and it did nothing so I am zipping it up and emailing it in. Hopefully someone can help me get this Logitech box working correctly. Love Mezzmo btw! BTW, this is with 2.50 and the newest Revue updates installed.

Thanks for the logs - we'll get back to you via e-mail once we go through them. One note before that - the Revue needs the file to be fully transcoded before it can play it, did you notice whether the file you are trying to play is being transcoded (check the Transcoding pane in Mezzmo)?

Just wanted to let everyone know that it was user error on my part. Dennis emailed me and explained how to pre transcode the files. Everything works perfectly now. Thanks.

To pre-transcode, just right-click on the file (or playlist) and use the "Pre-transcode" menu item. Then select your device and destination format and that's all. You can check progress using the Transcoding pane - once the file is done, it should play on the Revue properly.
