I have a Sony BDP-S480 and a Yamaha RX-V671. I've installed Mezzmo to try it out.
All the Windows Firewall settings look right, and I added a Folder of video files on my PC.
I can see the Mezzmo server from either of my devices (I have previously used TVersity). However if I go into Videos .. All Video Files I get ""No Valid Media files found" or similar.
On the Mezzmo server in Media devices there are no devices shown. I've tried the "IP address only" option, rebooted the PC, router and devices, and now I'm stuck.
Any other suggestions of things to try?

Please check this thread for some common connectivity issues: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/1183-FAQ-Cannot-see-Mezzmo-on-your-DLNA-device

Please also check if you have multiple copies of the Mezzmo server running on your machine or on your network - pehaps you are connecting to a different Mezzmo? Try renaming your server and see if the change comes up on your devices.

If nothing applies or helps, please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then try to connect to Mezzmo and once you get the "no files", stop the server and send in the logs to support.

Hi

I am having the same issue on my Panasonic TX-L37DT30.

I have Mezzo installed on a server running WHS 2011. I've set up all the relevant folders and can see all my music/videos in Mezzmo, the media server is running and everything seems to be OK except that no devices appear in the Media Devices dialogue. I have checked the DHCP Client List on my router and I can see the TV and the media server (everything is on a wired network)

When I run Viera Tools I can see my media server and also Mezzmo, but when I navigate to Videos, Music etc, I can't find any files

I've checked that there's only one instance of Mezzmo running on the server and I've read the threads you've suggested, but no joy.

I'll email the logs, but if you have any other suggestions.....

Please send in the logs and we'll proceed from there. Also, when e-mailing logs, please tell us the IP address of your Viera.

I may be OK afterall. I think the issue was to do with users/profiles on WHS 2011. I deleted all of the profiles except the Admin one, re-installed Mezzmo and it seems to be working now.

I'll keep playing around with it and let you know if I have any issues, but it looks like I'll be registering the trial version

Only other issue I have now is a dual core cpu :(

Thanks!
