Mezzmo kill CPU

Hello,

i have got an HP NAS Data Vault x510. I stock up my CPU to Quad Core Q9550s ( 2,83 GHz so on)

A few Days ago i already transcode a 17GB mkv file and my CPU usage was by 40%

Now if i start to transcode anything, CPU goes up to 100% an movie stutters or even do not play back. with other software like wild media server or
isedora i don´t have these problem. TV is a Sony KDL HX 925.

Because of layout i and interface i want purchase your product but i don´t work. And i thin Quad core an 2GB Ram in my NAS must be enough.
The TV is connected by cable and Gigabit Ethernet!

Please open a support ticket so that we could send you a new FFmpeg which may help with that.

Also, what does the transcoding pane in Mezzmo say when CPU goes that high? Please also check the Transcoding Settings to make sure that the transcoding CPU priority is set to Normal.

Where can i open this Ticket? Transcoding is coloured Red and says to slow by 19fps.. Hope we will get it running. :-)

Would it help to completly reinstall whs 2003 or should we wait cause it is not the trouble?

19fps is below what's needed for real-time playback, so please also enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then try pre-transcoding that file for a few minutes (or let it finish pre-transcoding if it's not a long file), then stop the server and shutdown Mezzmo and then send the logs along with your support request, so that we could check what's going on.

Reinstalling most likely won't help, transcoding is mostly limited by your CPU and RAM. Do you have lots of other software running on the PC at the same time as Mezzmo?

Log i can send in 8 h cause Have to work in a few minutes. Other progresses do Not work. Only mezzmo. Means i start whs 2003 and After boot i Only startet mezzmo. In progresses There's no exe which is over 23-30 MB but cpu goes to 100 %

Sure. It's a public holiday here tomorrow, so most likely we'll get back to you on Friday (and it's end of business day now).

From the logs we'll see what the file is and how it's being transcoded (please make sure to delete transcoded files before doing the logs) and we'll proceed based on that.
