I am running windows 7 home premium and have recently installed Mezzmo on 15 day trial, after other failed attempts at using other software to stream to my LG Bluray player.

Mezzmo is at the moment looking to be what others are not, however i have a strange problem that has manifested itself namely my screen-saver and screen power down option do not function while Mezzmo service is running. I though i had a work round which was to allow Mezzmo to start with windows then to stop the server ( task bar ) and then to re-start the server, but this alas now is no longer an option http://forum.conceiva.com/images/smilies/frown.png

I wonder if there is any previous on this ? or whether my install an uninstall process of other server software has left a niggle behind

Mezzmo server will prevent your computer from going to sleep if you are streaming files. We've also found that some devices constantly "talk" to Mezzmo, which may also cause Mezzmo to think it's active and prevent your PC going to sleep. Sony TVs, for example, do that.

What is your screensaver/powerdown timeout set at? Try making it less than 15 minutes, if it's more now and see if that works.
