Maybe I'm missing something here, but what do I use to get playback on my Windows Phone. I don't see anything that would offer playback. Is there an app? I tried Oneplayer. It recognized Mezzmo and Orb, but wouldn't actually populate a music list or playback any video files.

Oneplayer should work. Can you please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then try playing one music or video file and once that fails stop the server and send the logs to support and we'll start investigating.

Can you let me know what you did to get playback? I am having the same issue.

Thanks in advance,

-Jeff

We did not fully resolve the issue. Please contact us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we'll work with you to get you up and running. To help us determine the problem, please enable logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then try playing one music or video file and once that fails, stop the Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up the logs and send them to us.

Sorry, I dumped the Windows Phone and went back to my Blackberry shortly after working on the issue. Never did get a resolution. I don't think it's Mezzmo that's the problem. If I recall, I was eventually able to stream audio to it but never got video to work.

I'm still having an issue finding somehow to playback on my HTC Titan with WP7.5. I can get recognition but no playback on several different apps.

We'd like to see a set of logs to try to fix this. It seems that WP7.5 may be quite specific about the mimetypes/DLNA IDs, so we may have to adjust the device profile. Please enable logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and then restart your Mezzmo server. Try connecting to Mezzmo from your phone and browsing playlists and playing files. When it fails to play, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up the logs and send them to us.

No - this has not been properly resolved as yet. If you are happy to assist us by sending in logs when you have problems streaming to your WP7 phone, then I am confident we should be able to get it up and running.

Hi there,

I am also trying to stream media on my Samsung Omnia 7 (Windows Phone 7) with the oneplayer app. I get the same error...while trying to open the file on my phone, the app crashes. If you want I can send you the log files. Would be great if we could resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.

Yes, please. Turn logging on. Restart your Mezzmo server and then connect to Mezzmo using your phone. Try to stream a file on your phone from Mezzmo server and when the phone app crashes/breaks, then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
