I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I need the streaming for dummies guide.I have movies and tv shows from itunes that I see the thumbnails in my library, can see the thumbnails on my tv in mezzmo, but when I go to play on the tv I get a file not supported message. In mezzmo I can see windows media player and the samsung in media devices. Is there a way to put Quicktime player in there or should I not have to? Any insight would be appreciated. (and remember I need the step by step) I'm using the trial version.

In Mezzmo, go to the Media Devices dialog and find your Samsung TV listed there. Tell me what device profile has been assigned to your TV. Also, tell me what is exact model number of your Samsung TV. That will help us match up the right device profile.

One reason that your movies and TV shows are not playing is that they may have Apple's DRM (digital rights management) and that stops your TV from playing them and Mezzmo from transcoding them into a format that your TV can play. You mention that they are QuickTime video, so I guess DRM might be the problem here. If your files do have DRM, then there's nothing that we can do unfortunately. To check if this is the case, please send in the FFmpeg information on one of the files that does not play. To do this, right-click on one of the files that does not play in Mezzmo and then click 'Get FFmpeg Information' menu item. You can post this information here, or you can email it to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Thanks for posting the information. Unfortunately, the FFmpeg information shows us that the .M4V file has Apple's DRM (digital rights management). That means Mezzmo cannot read the file, or cannot transcode it to a format that your TV can play. All DLNA servers will have this problem.
