Can someone please help me with an issue I'm having. My CPU is an 8 core and has a liquid cooler but Mezzmo's transcoding is pushing it to overheat. What do you need from me so we can try to resolve this?

Thanks,
John

John,

Please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then try transcoding that file again and once the CPU temperature starts going up, stop the transcoding, stop the server, shut down Mezzmo and send the logs to the support e-mail.

This will show me what and how is being transcoded and we can proceed from there.

Also, please tell me the exact make and model of your CPU and whether it's overclocked or not.

Email sent.

I built my machine. It's an AMD FX8120 (8core), Asus Sabertooth 990FX board, with a corsair H60 water cooler and 4 case fans. I have 2 750GB WD drives running raid 0 and 16GB of ram. My video card is a Nvidia GTX 280 if you need that info as well and It is all being run by a 700w Power Supply. And no it's not overclocked.

Thanks,
John

Ok, I'll get back to you via e-mail after checking the logs. What about the CPU?
