Samsung D8000 series advice

Hi all, I have a D8000 series Samsung TV and I am testing DLNA servers. So far I have given up on samsung allshare, it kept crashing and taking hours to update media, and then giving me "server not started" errors, in short it's rubbish.

So I stumbled across Mezzmo, but I have some questions:

When trialing Twonky, it created a Twonky icon in the source menu which then bypassed smarthub and opened up shared media, nice feature, but I can't find this using Mezzmo?

When I add internet artwork to my movie files in Mezzmo and then view them on my TV, the artwork looks "zoomed in" like they are not the correct resolution for the TV, should the profile that is selected not automatically optomise these images? obviously not at the moment, so how do I get around this to get the best quality artwork displayed on my TV?

Can you take a photo of your TV (use your smartphone or digicam) so we can see what you mean with regards the Twonky icon in the source menu? Send the photo to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

By default, artwork thumbnails are 160x160 pixels (the DLNA standard). Your TV appears to be stretching/fitting these into their (larger) artwork thumbnail size. You can increase the artwork thumbnail size in Mezzmo so that larger thumbnails will be delivered to your TV. Here's what you need to do:

1. In Mezzmo, go to the Options dialog (Streaming page) and change the size to (say) 320x320pixels.
2. Stop your Mezzmo media server and exit Mezzmo using File/Exit.
3. Assuming you are using the 'Samsung D' device profile (go to Media Devices dialog to check this), you need to edit the 'SamsungD.prf' device profile with a text editor such as Notepad. Before editing the file, change the file properties from being read-only. In your text editor, look for:

4. Save the SamsungD.prf file
5. Start Mezzmo and run Maintain Library. This is required so that all your thumbnails are re-generated using the new (larger) size. In the Maintain Library dialog, check 'Update information about media files" and check 'Update artwork' and check 'Update all files'. Click OK and once maintenance is complete (check the Status pane), then start your Mezzmo media server and try streaming now. Note: You may lose some of your manually added internet movie artwork after maintenance has completed - unfortunately, you will have to add them back in.

You should have larger artwork displayed on your TV now.

Ok, Forget the first comment stupid me it works the same in Mezzmo as in Twonky. I have tried adjusting the artwork with little luck, but I think this is just a really annoying Samsung issue. If you use the take screenshot from video it looks fine, however trying to add your own artwork that is the correct resolution is a nightmare.
