hi i am new at mezzmo and i am trying to understand how work..

i understand that mezzmo know which file a tv can play in native mode and which one it need to transcode.

the problem is that some files (avi files with gmc on) don't work on my samsung c650 but mezzmo think the tv can (i think it see that it is an avi file).
I have no found an option to force transcode on the fly. the solo thing i can do is to pre-transcode all files (but this is boring)

so.. any chance to force a file to alwyas transcode on the fly?
any chance to say at mezzmo that files with gmc on need to be transcoded?

ty

Please post the FFmpeg information of the AVI file that does not play. To do this, right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

Also, tell us what device profile you are using for your TV. To do this, go to the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo.

this is the file.. the problem is that it have GMC on that samsung tv can't play.
if i pre-transcode it, it work good.

i am using Samsung C profile and i tried Samsung BDP profile too.

Another problem:

I have a file .mov that my tv can't see (he don't see the video), if i rename the file in .avi the tv can see and can play it (stupid tv).

so i think Mezzmo think that tv can't play mov file and transcode it.

sorry for my english, hope you can understand my 2 problems.

If your Samsung TV cannot play video files with GMC, then you must either re-encode the file yourself using some software tools or use Mezzmo to pre-transcode the file.

Please post the FFMpeg information for the .MOV file and we'll check out what may be going wrong.

mezzmo can't transcode on the fly the gmc file? or he can't know that the file have gmc?

The current version of Mezzmo (v2.5.0.0) does not know the file is using GMC, so it does not know it needs to transcode it. We may add GMC detection in a future version. We'll discuss it more here.
