Since upgrading to 2.6.1 my Panasonic Viera no longer gets detected. It does not come up on the connections list and I don't know what is going on. I completely restarted my network, Reset the TV settings back to factory, Uninstalled and re-installed mezzmo. Nothing> ?

I am out of ideas. I tested connectivity with PS3 media server and the computer and TV speak to each other fine. Please help as I do really like your product - better than all of the others I have tried which is why I paid for it.

Thank you for your prompt response on this issue

Pete

Sorry for your troubles.

Please try this: In Mezzmo, stop your Mezzmo server. Go to the Media Devices dialog and select all devices listed and delete them. Click OK to close this dialog and then start your Mezzmo server. Mezzmo will now discover and add your devices again. Let me know if your TV is listed now (assuming your TV is turned on so that Mezzmo can discover it).

Hi Paul, thank you for the response. I was able to get the program to recognize my TV after a lot of trial and error. Another question though...I see that you have a new format for the Viera which is 3d no DIVX, however if I select that my TV doesn't recognize any files?

The new Panasonic Viera 3D (No DivX) profile is for certain Viera models that users have recently contacted us to support. They are different to other Viera models with regards their format support, thus requiring a new device profile. If your TV refuses to list Mezzmo or browse folders/playlists or play files when using this device profile, then change back to the 'Panasonic Viera (2011 models)' profile. From our support database, I can see that most Viera GT30 users are using this profile. If you do have problems, let us know.

I had to switch back to Viera 2011 models no divx to get it to work. I really like your product, but I experience issues when streaming, such as:

When I fast forward the video generally starts back at the beginning - not sure if this is due to the software in the Viera or what because it works fine with WD Live.
Also I noticed after pre-transcoding videos that it does not do the whole video. When I watch on the viera, usually somewhere around the last 10 minutes is not included.

Hi Pete,

We'd like to see a set of logs when you fast forward and it resets back to the beginning of the file. Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo using your TV and reproduce the fast forward problem. When it starts at the beginning, then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Also, if you can reproduce the pre-transcode issue whilst logging is turned on, then we may see what is going wrong there as well.

I will work on getting those logs to you sometime this weekend. As far as the transcoding issue - I am not sure if I can get that to reproduce, but I have items in my library which are not complete currently. Would the following be a feature of Mezzmo streaming or a feature that my TV would have:
The ability to skip to a specific time in a video, similar to the way WDlive allows it, or perhaps a chapter selection of some sort

Hi Pete,

Many DLNA devices' firmware store in their memory the point where you stopped playing a video and will allow you to resume the video or start playing it from the beginning. If you choose to resume the video, then your DLNA device will simply request that part of the video from Mezzmo server and Mezzmo server will stream it back to your DLNA device. Mezzmo server has no knowledge of where you stopped watching your video - only your DLNA device knows this.
