Are you using the latest version of Mezzmo (v2.6.2.0)? If not, please upgrade to it.

Are you using the Samsung C device profile? Go to Media Devices dialog to check this. Just to be sure, stop your Mezzmo server. Delete all devices listed in the Media Devices dialog and restart your Mezzmo server. Your TV (assuming it is turned on) will be re-listed in the Media Devices dialog. Make sure it is using Samsung C device profile.

If you are using the Samsung C device profile, then these files should be passed directly to your TV without transcoding. If they are being transcoded on-the-fly, then it is best we see a set of logs to determine what is going wrong. Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Stream one of the AVI files to your TV. After it plays for a minute or so, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Thanks for the logs. The logs shows that Mezzmo server is passing the AVI files directly to your TV, but your TV is refusing to play them for some reason. It could be that the AVI file's encoding is either non-compatible with your Samsung TV's firmware (your TV cannot decode them) or the AVI file's encoding is corrupted in some way.

A few things to try:

1. Change the device profile to 'Samsung D'. Go to the Media Devices dialog to do this. Restart your Mezzmo server and try streaming one of the AVI files again. If it does not help, then change back to the 'Samsung C' device profile.

2. In Mezzmo, right-click on one of the AVI files and click 'Pre-transcode File'. In the Pre-transcode File dialog, select your TV and click Choose Formats. In the Transcoding Formats dialog, choose the bolded format and select the 'Force full transcode of all channels' checkbox. Click OK to close the Transcoding Formats dialog and then select the 'Pre-transcode files even if they match the devices formats' checkbox. Click OK and the file will begin pre-transcoding. Go to the Transcoding pane to see progress. Once it has been completed, then try streaming that AVI on your Samsung TV again. If it plays, then it may suggest the original AVI file cannot be played on your TV.

Let us know how you go.

1. Change the device profile to 'Samsung D'. Go to the Media Devices dialog to do this.

This is working! :)

I use a iCoolsoft total video converter (http://icoolsoft.com/total-video-converter/), very easy to convert video and audio files to portables like samsung cell phone, MP4 player.
