If you integrate DownloadStudio into Internet Explorer (or other browsers), DownloadStudio will catch your click on download links and add a download job for you.

When browsing in Internet Explorer you may occasionally find a file which you do not want to use DownloadStudio to download. You can use normal browser downloading for it by holding down the SHIFT key when clicking on the download link. You will need to hold the shift key until Internet Explorer displays the File Download dialog.

The other alternative is to use the Internet Explorer toolbar 'Click Monitoring' button to toggle letting DownloadStudio catch your download links (as shown in the attached image).

This functionality is different for different browsers. For information on bypassing click monitoring in Firefox, Mozilla and Opera take a look at the DownloadStudio FAQs.

A new feature in DownloadStudio 5.0 allows you to simply click the "Cancel" button in the DownloadStudio Add job dialog and the download will revert back to downloading using your browser.
