Hi,

Just started using Mezzmo at home - and it works really well. I did see someone a couple of years ago complain about this issue - but it was apparenlty "fixed" way back when.

My source data for Mezzmo is a large number of WMA (Lossless) files. When browsing the Music library using Windows Media Player - it shows all the files, but albums appear multiple times (i.e. They'll appear once for every track on the album - instead of just once, for an album of multiple tracks).

This makes it look like I've got thousands of Albums, all with the same name - and each one has 1 track only.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

If I run up WMP - select the Mezzmo server, then 'Album' - that's where all these "dupes" show. When the files were accessed locally WMP would correctly show each album once, double clicking it would show the tracks on it.

Now I get every album lots of times, and double clicking on an album only shows one track.

This is with Windows Media Player in Win 7 - and Mezzmo v2.6.3.0

We'd better see a set of logs to determine the reason for the multiple albums. Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo from WMP and browse your Music library to show the multiple albums problem as you mention. When it shows multiple albums, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
