After updating Mezzmo to version 2.6.4.0 my Philips 7605 TV will no longer play most formats.

I've been using a customized version of the Philips 7000 profile that has been playing mkv, mp4, avi and wmv files without any trouble, but after the update the only thing that will play is wmv. Switching back to the standard 7000 profile doesn't make any difference. Anything other than wmv just gives an 'unsupported format' message on the TV.

By digging around in other profiles, I've managed to fix the avi and mp4 formats by changing the mimetypes to video/x-msvideo from video/avi and video/mp4v from video/mp4, but I can't seem to find the magic word that will make it play the mkv files again.

Have you got any hints as to what I need to change to make it play mkv files again?

If you go to the DeviceProfiles folder (see this thread for its location: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/467-FAQ-Where-are-device-profiles-located), you should see a Backup sub-folder and your old customized Philips 7000 device profile should be located there. This will let you determine your old customized settings (or even just copy it back over the new version). If you need further help with regards getting your Matroska files streaming, please just ask.

Once you have a working Philips 7000 device profile, can you send it to us? I imagine your changes will be useful for other Philips 7000-series owners, so we may incorporate it into the next version of Mezzmo. Please zip it up and send it to support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

The problem isn't that my old profile was overwritten by the update. I have renamed it so the standard Philips 7000 profile doesn't overwrite it and I have backups too.

The problem is that the exact same profile that has been working perfectly fine before the update no longer plays mkv files after the update. The standard Philips 7000 profile, which also used to support mkv files, will also not play them anymore. It seems like Mezzmo is telling telling the TV that the files are in another format that it doesn't understand.

Since the last update i can't not read any video files of my library listed in mezzmo through my tv 40pfl8605h/12 philips, my tv says the files are not supported; any kind of files avi, mkv....The audio files mp3 are working propely.

i made the test with another sever program ps3media server with this program i can read the video files normally through my tv 40pfl8605h/12 philips.

I also have a bdp player philips hts 9140/12 (oppo bdp) which is connected to the network through ethernet cable. with this device i can read all the video files of my library which are listed in mezzmo.

i have post this message to the support team this afternoon and i 'm waiting for their answer.
Thank you for your help
regards
