I have Windows7 recently installed and I get an error when I try to capture streaming video. I had Vista installed previously and had no issues. The error message I get as soon as I press the "Record" button is...

"An error has occurred with code 0x1f4d. Do you want to save the recorded data?"

and another window with the error...

"Error reading audio input."

I have IE8 installed and the full retail purchased Download Studio 5.1.5.0. Please let me know what I can do as I'm using this to capture video for my business.

Hi,
I was able to reproduce your error by disabling the Default audio mixer currently selected by Audio/Video Capture, you will need to check to see if your audio mixer device is enabled:

1. Go to 'Recording Options...' in Audio/Video Capture
2. From the 'Audio Recording' page, click on the 'Recording Control...' button
3. Select your audio mixer from the list and go to 'Properties'
4. Change the 'Device usage:' to 'Use this device (enable)'
