hello. i am thinking of purchasing ths software. in using free versions of other download managers;i usually download at around 70-80kbs. i have dsl 768 speed. i`m assuming the free version of this software will do the same. i haven`t downloaded it yet to try. i need to know in general, what is the increase in download speed of the paid version compared to the free?

Hi,
DownloadStudio provides a 15 day trial for users who have not purchased a license, during the 15 day trial download speeds run at the same speed as the full licensed version, this is the maximum speed available on your Internet connection. Currently we do not offer a free version of DownloadStudio.

well i don`t quite understand that. i get this 70-80k speed even if i just download with the browser. i don`t even need an accelerator program. other accelerator say that you will get 300-400% faster speeds with their program, the paid version of course. i know for a fact that one of the programs i am using now,the freeware version of it would give me about 400% faster download speeds with their paid version. so if your software that i`m using now is the same as your paid version, just for a trial period; why am i not getting any faster download speed that i would with my browser. where is the acceleration then?

DownloadStudio increases the speed of your downloads by making multiple connections to the server and downloading the files in multiple parts, if the server you are downloading from allows multiple connections then you will see a speed increase over regular browser downloading. Some servers such as rapidshare do not allow multiple connections so we restrict these downloads to one connection by using a site rule, user's with premium accounts can disable the site rule to get faster downloading.

Could you let us know which site you are downloading from?
