Metadata lost when upgrading to a newer versio

For my movie collection, i usually use the get on line video meta data in order to populate the poster art and description but it seems that after every update this disappears. Is there a way to make these permanent?

Upgrading your version of Mezzmo should not lose any metadata in your Mezzmo library, and we have not had any user reports of this happening to date.

My guess is that you are maintaining your Mezzmo library and this is replacing all your existing metadata with new metadata. In the Maintain Library dialog, make sure you set the "Only update files with missing information" radio button. This will update only the empty metadata fields/tags for files in your Mezzmo library. If you set the "Update all files" radio button, then it will replace all your existing metadata for your files.
